Use Case

Documentary Interview Transcription

Transcribe documentary interview footage for editorial review, subtitling, and rights documentation.

Documentary filmmakers across the Nigerian indie scene. Africa Magic, Showmax originals, BBC Africa Eye correspondents, plus Lagos and Abuja-based production houses, review hours of interview footage to pull the strongest takes. Frequently asked questions

Interview subject consent?

Required before recording; document with signed release.

Multi-day shoots?

Each interview uploads separately; full project searchable.

Does AuTrans output match the Premiere Pro speech-to-text format?

AuTrans exports SRT and VTT which Premiere imports directly via File > Import. Premiere's own speech-to-text feature stops at English; for Pidgin or Yoruba interviews, AuTrans is the more accurate path.
