Frequently asked

Questions, answered

Can I join audio files gap-free?
Yes. AuTrans's joiner concatenates files end-to-end without inserting any silence. If you need a crossfade, mark it explicitly per file pair.
Can I mix formats (MP3 + WAV + M4A) in one merge?
Yes. The joiner re-encodes each input to match the first file's sample rate and channel count, then outputs in your chosen format.
How many files can I merge at once?
Up to 20 files per session on free. Pro users can merge up to 100 files in a batch.
What's the total size limit?
Combined input up to 500 MB on free, 2 GB on Pro. The joined output respects whatever output format and bitrate you choose.
Can I crossfade between files?
Crossfade is a Pro feature, set the crossfade length per join point (default: 1 second). Free users get gap-free concatenation.
Can I rearrange the order of files before joining?
Yes, drag-and-drop reordering in the browser before you hit Merge. The output respects whatever final order you set.
